Luxury Accommodation at Country House Hotel, North Wales UK
“with an appealing air of quietly assured good breeding and of friendly
welcome, Tanrallt ..”

The inspiring and historic Plas Tan-yr-Allt – we call it Tanny – opened just
before Easter 2005 to provide elegant, en-suite accommodation for guests. Completely renovated over the last two years this unique country house hotel is the perfect place to relax in comfort in the midst of beautiful scenery.
Built in 1800 and home to the poet Shelley (1812-13) the house looks out over
the Glaslyn Estuary within easy reach of Porthmadog and on the edge of the
Snowdonia National Park. Set in 47 acres of wooded Cliffside, Plas Tan-yr-allt
is a stylish base from which to explore this most spectacular part of Wales
before returning to country house comfort.
