Dear Friends After five years of fun we have decided to call it a day here at Tanny. There are so many things to be proud of including the splendid reviews, the Cesar Award from the Good Hotel Guide and being presented to HM The Queen. Above all however we will take away the memories of meeting the many charming and interesting people – and a few others - with whom we were able to share this beautiful place. We are both ready to think about new adventures and the very last day we will be open is Saturday September 4th. The house will then go on the market shortly after. It will however - see below - be available as a holiday let while we look for a buyer. It only remains for us to thank each and every person who has been to stay here over the last five and a half years most especially for all the fun and controversy at the dining table. As some of you will have read in my recent email we are changing things here at Tanny and from the beginning of September the house will be available for parties of 6 or 12 to rent on a self catering basis. In the low season the house which starts at the beginning of September the house wil be £950 per week for three bedrooms or £1500 per week for six bedrooms. For previous Tanny guests there is a 20% reduction as a Loyalty Reward type thing. If you fancy spending Christmas or New Year here - it is a lovely house for the festive season - then it is £2500 per week. As some of you who have stayed recently will know Nick has been away from the kitchen renovating another property. He has taken a hideously run-down but charming cottage in the village of Maentwrog, fully restored it, installed up to the minute energy saving appliances and injected it with style.
